The Guinea-Pig Hutch

Behaviour & Social

Picture
Guinea-pigs are social animals and should be kept in at least a pair, and often they can be kept in groups. However, boars can be harder to pair up than sows as they can fight. Sows can also fight but they are less likely to do this.

Popcorning
When a guinea-pig is excited or happy, they will kick their legs and hop into the air.
